Time to get this going with the announcement of the SA team.

Finally the SA selectors have seen some sense.

You are talking about the squad but it has not been posted?

The Windies must be going alright at the one day stuff - they have left DJ Bravo and Pollard out of their CWC squad.

Could be punishment.

There wasn't supposed to be recriminations against players following the Indian debacle. I don't think Pollard's ODI form is all that great and is overrated and half fit for mine but the alternatives aren't much chop either (see Cooper, Sammy)

I hope the last 5 overs don't cost us 50+ runs again every time. Not much by way of death bowling! I hope Faf has the sense to let the bowlers bowl to their strengths (yorkers) rather than imposing short pitched balls (as AB did). If not, there could be many balls being returned to the pitch from the spectators.

I'm sad Ryan Marcell Coetzee has been left out - but hey ho...

Good luck to our boys. However, I expect nothing and shall not be disappointed... if we get through the 1st knockout stage, bonus...

I reckon you will go close this time Thato and a win wouldn't surprise.

The home team has only won it once (India). The conditions are like home conditions, the Saffers have the best top six and Steyn. The only weakness is the lack of an allrounder like Jacques Kallis but they are virtually extinct.

I am tipping the Poms to win it. Sounds crazy but they seem to be getting their house in order and have some good young talent.

I still struggle with not seeing the name; G Smith.

An impressive group that will perform well. I'm tipping them for second place, behind Australia with NZ and India also in the last 4.

If we expect nothing, we'll either be very happy or we'll just shrug it off.........like all the other times :36_11_6:

Follow the money trail.

Not sure why anybody would bother watching a practice game - they are like dancing with your sister.

Decent for the boys.  Really pleased to see QDK get some runs.  The rain made it a close game as we lost QDK the ball after it and hash in the same over.

Shouldn't read too much into as it was just a warmup but not great to lose badly to NZ. Hopefully the boys will be ready for sunday.

Hey All, been a while since posted on this site.

So we lost the warm-up against the Kiwi's badly. Perhaps a good thing and happened at the right time.

Whats your guys thoughts on the new youngsters in the team? Still a bit inexperienced I think which can cost us this year?
