Cape Town - Jaco Peyper will referee the Super Rugby derby between the Bulls and Stormers at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday, February 14.

Peyper will be assistant by Jaco van Heerden and Stephan Geldenhuys, with Johan Greeff on Television Match Official (TMO) duty.

In the other South African derby on the opening weekend of the 2015 Super Rugby tournament, Australia's Andrew Lees will referee the clash between the Sharks and Cheetahs at Kings Park in Durban (February 14).

Lees will be assisted by Rohan Hoffmann and Archie Sehlako, with Marius Jonker the TMO.

Australia's Hoffmann will also referee the Friday evening encounter between the Lions and Hurricanes at Ellis Park in Johannesburg. There, he will be assisted by Lees and Pro Legoete, with Greeff the TMO.

Dit is n skande dat Loftus gebruik word sodat n ref weer sy voete kan vind. Dit is hoekom daar velde soos Ellispark en Kingspark is. Hulle moes hom eers n paar hoërskool wedstryde laat blaas het.

O genade, dink aan my Owen.  Die hele en ek bedoel HELE skoonfamilie gaan by my tuis wees daai dag. So dis een van my, een Bul swaer en miskien n Leeu swaer wat teen die oormag Stormerondersteuners gaan wees. Ek kry myself al klaar jammer

Peyper  is kak vir albei spanne. Mens weet nooit vir wie sy foute die duurste gaan kos nie. Dans hy nog lekker hardegat ook.

Not overly disappointed. Some good stuff but inexperience and the missed kicks early on cost the Lions dearly.

One they could have won.  Incorrect decisions, missed opportunities, unforced errors and vrot kicking.  Early days yet but they need to do the basics correctly.
