Stupid Bulls. They should have played themselves, thereby guaranteeing at least one win.

Ruhan Janse van Rensburg a huge loss.

SARU better get a handle on this.

Reading tha report they are not signed yet.

And if Ruhan goes, fuck you Allister Coetzee and your fucking provincialism

i did not think that Ruhan would return, he was treated like he was no good for AC to keep picking his nothing players. We lose far too many players to Europe and I can only see this stopping when Europe is flooded with players and they can not take nay more and these countries unions change the rules.

What I find ironic is that players outside his pea brained circle were dropped as soon as they did not perform, yet he himself still thinks he did a good job and thinks he still deserves to remain as coach.

He acts like a pathetic teenager trying to hang on to the girlfriend who dumped him..

The problem does not lie with players.  If someone was to offer you double or triple your salary for the same job I am sure you'd consider any such lucrative offer.  But, certain SARU members are reportedly still not charged with embezzling millions.  It is my opinion that there are too many "executives" earning astronomical salaries for doing sweet blue fuckall.

It is time world rugby steps in and get some form of general remuneration system going.  Our players are not being paid on the same level as the rest of the world.

I think you may be right Taipan, where the Lions have lost some key players, the Sharks have gained Mapimpi and Du Preez, both will make the Sharks a better side.

I am keen to see how Mapimpi does.

It's all about the bench. Lions have lost depth there.

First round games are always very difficult to call.  Looking at continuity in both players and training staff it seems the du Preez family have the edge.  What is true is it has the potential to either end up as a very tight game or if combinations do not work and fitness levels are not optimum we could see one of those famous South African "getjommel" games.

I'll opt for the first one with the du Preez family winning by a small margin..:36_11_6:

I still love you Stu - even though you a Sharkie hey? You'll have to use some nasty words on me before we breakdown ne....and I know you don't have them in your vocab so I'm safe xx

For SA rugby - may the better team win  ..I'm impartial

Could have gone either way. The missed kicks late in the game kept the Sharks in it

Did the Jaguares get better or did the Stormers get kakker - from last year' base?  I think the Stormers got a groot skruk..

Lions and Sharks was a good game, both will do well this year.

Half the team is still injured and we normally  struggle a bit against the Jags.

I absolutely hate those argies players...Watching Senatla run, he chips the ball, Argie connects him, but he maintains his composure and chases the ball down, those Argies would have taken a dive for sure....

Later in the game, the madness by the Stormers player when he tackles that chap, a nothing tackle outside the field of play and then take note of that cheating argie, staying down as if this is football...fucken disgraceful sportsman..

I did enjoy the game though, and the Sharks one too, other than listening to Stransky, he must get a hard on every time Lions get the ball, He was full of excuses when the Lions made errors, rusty, other players in his way etc etc, but when the Sharks made errors they were clumsy...

Good kicks by Sharks were just good, Elton's were fantastic..

I have never noticed how biased he was before, is this normally how he is?
