After the Hardus "attack" on Friday the Lions can feel "we wus robbed".........but that's cricket i guess.

(It was good to see batsmen hopping about again!!)

The Lions deserves the trophy more. They have performed really well.

You could argue that the Cobras won more games and ended theseason with 6 wins in a row to get to the final so the Cobras had just as much claim.

But unfortunately rain was the winner. Amazing amount of rain. Last season just effected the Dolphins but this season has been so disappointing in both this comp and the 4-day comp for all teams. They were stupid to play early season matches in Western Cape and a game in Paarl was rained out in the 4-day stuff. The KZN and Highveld weather has just been poor this summer full stop & multiple games have been lost.

Gaz was around a couple of months back. The quota seems to have got to him. Hopefully around for the WC.

Cobras let this slip.

Ontong's captaincy probably needs looking into. Not sure how he managed to ignore Robin Peterson.

Elgar was class and composed. Albie finally scored some runs, feels like he saves that for the Cobras every time. :clapping-hands:

Elgar won the cup for Titans.

Particularly his ton in the semi as well.

Some real under the pressure runs. His confidence is at an all time high. Pity he has to wait another 4 to 5 months for a test.

True, nice to get some 4 test match series.

Be interesting if they go van Zyl or Reeza Hendricks at the top.

Looks like Van Zyl.

I've always like Stiaan. When he plays his shots he is a thing of beuty. But I've always had this lingering doubt he will make it against the best. Just think that no feet movement and playing away from his body can be found out.

I think they will eventually go to Hendricks to open if it fails.

If it doesn't work for Stiaan opening he will probably get another chance in the middle but I've always fancied Rilee Rossouw more if he got his head switched on the right way and it seems like he is maturing.

And now we got this gun at the Titans, Theunis de Bruyn.

I like Stiaan as well, but unlike most, I don't blame this loss on the bowlers, but rather at our batting. We were set up for a much bigger score, but VZ and his fellow bats let us down in the last 15 overs.

Ontong is just an embarrassment! He's got a overripe leek for a brain! How can you bowl the competition's leading wicket-taker for 3 overs? How come Gogga didn't send him a stiff message? Maybe that's where the problem lies??

My Titans!!!!!!!!!

Finally! So happy for Albie - that boy, the coaches messed his career up when it came to his batting but glad Miller won't go down the same route
