England tour to SA

Bloody dogs needed a walk.

The problem is I have seen elite umpires call legit balls as no balls. The lower levels don’t have snicko, ball tracking or hot spot either.

True but I guess so much isn't at stake.

Hopefully your lot can knock off the rest of the Pommy wickets quickly and then run down the total. Love to see the series over after two Tests

Doesn't matter - there are 24 hours in the day irrespective of how or when you use them

This Ben Stokes routine has been seen before. Like Headingley he is being helped by ordinary captaincy

Well the Proteas will have to break a record or two to win this one.

Who would have thought that the angelic Jos Buttler had such a potty mouth. I would fine him for being English and having a name like Jos rather than dropping the F bomb so recklessly. I see J Root used the Aussie defence by creating his own imaginary line of what is appropriate on a cricket field. That stuff doesn't worry me per se but if players are going to get fined for using poor language then all who get caught should be fined without exception

Mountain....... mole hill, comes to mind. Apparently he called him a knob head, which had all the virtue signalling luvvies’ knickers in a knot.

On mountains and molehills a few of Dock’s mates are extremely knicker twisted as I dared to joke that Labuschagne is a Saffie

LOL. Morphed into a very sensitive bunch here. Marnus is the best Saffer batsman in the world at the moment and a crucial part of our masterplan to decipher sneaky Afrikaan codewords during games with SA. To be fair to my sensitive comrades Marnus learnt his cricket in Australia unlike KP, Trott, Watling and Wagner amongst others who moved after their formative years. The Kiwis have another good one coming through shortly as well (Devon Conway) who qualifies in September 2019. Glenn Phillips is also a Saffer.  Michael Neser is another Saffer on the fringes of Aust selection as was Chris Green until he got pinged for chucking (yesterday).

Wagner is apparently the highest ranked Saffer bowler in the world as well. I wouldn't be dropping any of the SA incumbents to bring him in despite his ranking.

I think mentioning that a Saffie will win the AB medal set them off.

Ah Devon Conway. A total failure in SA after being highly hyped as a schoolboy.

The Kiwis are counting the days until Conway is eligible.

And then, in the last you had George Gregan from Zambia, if I’m not mistaken.

The lad was born there but his father was an Australian working in the country when he met his mother.

George is quite the hospitality man with an interest in a large number of cafes/restaurants. Also now involved in some litigation over some fitness related business in which he also had an interest

Alas Dock, 30 mins too long for the Proteas....2-0 sounded better to me as well but 1-1 is the result. Hope the PE band drives the Poms crazy so we get some advantage 😉

Might be all to play for by the time it rocks into Wanderers which could be worth the Sat and Sun tickets...

Why bowl your medium-pacers first-up at the start of an innings?

imho Paterson is a poor choice.......

Especially given the effort of KG during the day.

The first two sessions were a real grind - pitches need to be a little more sporting

This is not my place to comment, but I certainly can't figure out why he is in the team.
