This is not my place to comment, but I certainly can't figure out why he is in the team.

For his batting. The Poms can't get him out

Nortje apart, this Protea bowling "attack" is not worth 10 cents!!

Surely we have some bowlers with some fire down below??????

Outclassed in every department..........with not a brain-cell in evidence anywhere. Shameful exhibition.....Nortje & Quinny apart.

Might be time for Faf to pack it in. Not contributing with the bat and seems to be losing the plot with the captaincy. Should have opened with KG last Test and spreading the field for numbers 10 & 11 for an extended period was madness. Not helped by injury (Markram), half fit players (Vern), dumb suspensions and any number of Kolpaks who would be better than most of the current bunch but still time to let Quinny or Markram have a crack

What odds? Score 240 day 4, 226 day 5 & make history & win our respect back........worth a bet

There's something VERY wrong with SA cricket..........from 235 -5 we end up 274 all out. This was a match we could've won.

Instead, the players elected to play golf on day 5?

This team lay down like a very cheap whore.

Mr Faull - if you have the balls, set up a board of enquiry.

Second home Test series loss in a row.........last happened 70 (SEVENTY) years ago.

To be fair they were never going to run down 466 and make history. A team with Smith, Amla, Kallis, de Villiers etc in their respective pomp might have (as per 400 odd in Perth) but the current team is lacking a lot of class (and confidence). Despite winning the first Test your lot were punch drunk at the end so the lack of fight, while disappointing and not like SA teams generally,  was not entirely unexpected. Once you get the likes of KG, Ngidi and Markram back in things will improve sharply. The Proteas were never going to take 20 wickets with that attack especially as Vern was running on fumes

I've never seen any SA team in any sport surrender like this mob did yesterday -  not one mg of passion, pride or heart. They got docked 6 points & 60% of their match fee for a slow over rate........ which shows exactly how profoundly inept this shower of posers actually is.

it's a new low.

The Poms have left out Butler and Stokes and brought in Ali so it might be a little closer than originally anticipated

The pink ODI was a yawn!!

the U19 final -Bangles v India was a far better game excitement wise. I just love it when the "favorites" get their noses bloodied..........and entrance was free!! :bounce:
