supersupporter 1,417 Report post Posted June 29, 2020 What do you guys remember about Mark De Marigny? I do not remember him well, I do remember Roland. I am just asking as he lives local to me now and we follow each other on Strava, and I am sure when lockdown rules change we will get a chance to cycle together. Ex Sharks and Sevens player. supersupporter 1,417 Report post Posted June 29, 2020 I recall his brother, played for Italy for a while https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_de_Marigny and vaguely him, but the brother does not sit in the mind. At that point I had moved to Joburg and lost touch with the goings of Sharks rugby. https://www.google.com/search?q=marc+de+marigny&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=CqhpCjmqzVOWWM%2CNSuw131e99wOfM%2C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kQMEcaCYEl0lrbodKxrSVZG8k25eA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwinw5mZ6KbqAhVtQUEAHTfBBp8Q9QEwBHoECAoQJQ&biw=1920&bih=937#imgrc=7bZKaS-ht6s-1M

supersupporter 1,417 Report post Posted August 17, 2020 That is just typical UK reporting, they fail to highlight the other players, one being Manu Tuilagi who also chose not to, but since they come from a RACIST culture, then they must be racist for not giving in to snowflake culture
taipan 2,568 Report post Posted August 17, 2020 UK journalism has become totally snowflake orientated
taipan 2,568 Report post Posted October 2, 2020 This super 8 looks like another joke competition. We must cut all ties with NZ rugby including the rugby championship. If they can't afford to pay their players well then the NRL will come for them with bags of gold

Best move SA could have done was get away and join the NH. Just straight up logic says it is the right move.
supersupporter 1,417 Report post Posted October 2, 2020 Rugby needs to start selling players, this is the only way unions can actually make some money. Just like football, SA should start selling their players, I have said this for years, these unions invest huge amounts of money in their players, only to have them walk away with all the talent that has been invested in. Cheetahs could probably be the richest team in the world.

They already know that, this is why so many ex-players are coming out saying that this is good blah blah blah..They know all too well this move not having SA is bad for them. Someone once told me that SOUTH AFRICA have underwritten this competition since its inception.

J1M1 1,254 Report post Posted December 4, 2020 Pumas lift suspensions over racist tweets in shock U-turn | Sport (news24.com) Can't help but be cynical about the AB's laying a black Maradona shirt on the pitch last week before the game.......was it genuine sorrow or another AB plot using every trick in the book to win a game??
