Olympics 2016

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hello! All South African fans who like all sports and Olympic Games are invited to join totallympics.com, an international discussion forum about Olympic Sports and Olympic Games, where sport fans from all around the world discuss everyday about the current sport events.

Rio 2016 Olympic Games are few days away and it would be nice to have some South African representation on Totallympics, to follow Olympic Games with us posting your live comments, predictions, news and so on.

For those interested, we are also running some Olympic Prediction Contests, a just-for-fun game in which users have to pick winning athletes/teams and they earn points according to the real events results. A provisional standing will be posted everyday and you have time until the Olympics start to post your prediction. You will find everything in the Prediction Contest section: http://totallympics.com/index.php?/forum/19-totallympics-prediction-contests/

I hope to see some of you on Totallympics, the home of Olympic Sports!

If you ever feel useless just remember that someone is a lifeguard at the olympics swimming event

Just in case Eric the Eel shows up again. I did think he was going to drown that day.

So Novic lost out again in the tennis. Wondering why losing suddenly?? Men's' road bike race was eventful, P'd off Porte got injured then Nibali and Thomas :( In the end good win by van Amermaert. Swimming has its moments that Hungarian woman is miles ahead wonder if she needs testing Lol. Katie Ledecky also seemingly few seconds ahead of her opposition. Hope Le Close can do something in the final tomorrow

Well done Oz Women 7's side, hammered the Kiwis..

Always a good day when they get beaten at any form of rugby. They reckon the ref robbed them but they would (food poisoning etc - no shortage of excuses)

I watched the game and the Oz girls were all over them, by far the better side, plus the Kiwi girl got binned for about 5 minutes due to there not being a break in play.

Perhaps that is where 7's can change the rules and allow a player to return even during play but behind the most rear players feet on the field.

So our flag bearer and one of only 6 athletes from Nam is now in prison for attempted rape of a cleaner in the Olympic village.

Isn't that just wonderful!

I was hoping that the Boomers (Australian men's basketball team) could have stuck it up those prima donnas from the Dream Team. To get within ten points was a good result but a win would have been unbelievable. We should go close in 2020 when we can add in Ben Simmons (no 1 draft pick this year), Thom Maker (no 10 pick this year) and Dante Exum (no 5 pick last year but injured playing for the Jazz last season).
