Proteas will head to England with some questions

Recommended Posts

I don't see any problems. Most of the guys haven't played for a while and the Poms are in the middle of their season.

The Poms are in reasonable form and on their own dung heap. The Proteas plan to play all 15 players over the three games so that tells you how seriously they are taking it - clearly their eye is on next weeks tournament

So Hash now quickest to 2000/3000/4000/5000/6000/7000 runs.

remember when Dennis tried to convince us he played too many dot balls and was crap at ODI's.

Gaz had a detailed knowledge of all things cricket especially junior cricket and domestic competitions around the world.

I got home last night looking forward to a night on the couch watching a good game of cricket and England were 6/20. The Poms have been drinking their own bath water again.

Tahir should be barred from running the drinks henceforth.

Gaz was one of the best cricket posters I have come across. The quotas killed his love for the game.

Dennis became senile when he retired.

When Dennis announced that he was moving to be near his mother in law I suspected he was unwell (LOL).

I hope he is enjoying life whatever he may be doing

It seems so. Nasser talked about it earlier. Said it has been getting a bit of tennis ball bounce lately.

One down, four to go.

Looks like a race in three at the moment - SA, India or England. The others seem off the pace.

Strangely I have just seen a Pom pick SA, India or Aus.

Why don't you just go ahead and pick Aus, England or India just to stay in tune then?

Not sure how you could include Aus - the players are more interested their pay dispute than playing cricket

What moron thought having a ODI tournament in England with the top eight ranked teams in early June would be a good idea given the English weather at that time of the year. Australia could qualify (or get knocked out) without completing a single game if the weather forecast for Saturday coming is correct. The D/L system is better than any of it's predecessors but it still allows rogue results and doesn't take into account long batting tails etc. Surely a reserve day to complete games could be used given that there is decent spaces for all teams between games.

Didn't they host it 4 years ago?

I think they did. It could be held at the end of the Test fixtures when the weather is generally more reliable
