I think that kit might be the final undoing in my loyalty to the men from up north. I really have had it with their kak kits and their kakker rugby. And no, I won't be supporting another team...

What is scary about this Lions result is that the Blues are probably the weakest of the NZ teams.

I am curious as to why these NZ teams are able to up their games in the final 20 when playing in the highveld. Are they just more fit than the SA players or is it merely a motivational "wanting to win" mentality

Don't you hate it when the commies start talking about the effect that the altitude is going to have on the overseas teams in the last 20 minutes, then it's the overseas teams win the game in the last 20 minutes.

In that game, I did feel the Blues got away with some illegal play at ruck time, at least on 2 occasions they were allowed more than one bite at the cherry, as they say. The one the hooker tried, missed and then went again and slapped the ball out.

And if Andy Capastagnio ever reads this, an offload in the tackle is not called a Sonny Bill, it will never catch on no matter how many times you say it.

It's not like he was Gary Owen.

So there is a good chance of at least one fucked TV in the U.K. and one in SA.

In fairness, the term “Gary Owen” should probably be replaced by “aimless kick downfield” in the modern game.

I have renamed that an "Allister Coetzee" in honour of the great man.

To me, there is no more aimless kick than getting a free kick and putting up an Up & Under. You turn 100% possession into a 50/50 possession with risk
