It's a VERY serious issue - if Naspers takes a hit the market will tank like we've not ever seen. The entire JSE is dependent on a handful of shares..........very unhealthy!!!

Basically our hands are tied. I think a percentage of funds has to be in equity

Not sure minimum prescribed value but obviously funds have equity due to capital growth/continued best returns over long period. Around 65_75 max including 25% max overseas. Funds play with cash bonds and equity depending on market/economic situation. I think 2 years ago bonds gave way better returns than equity.

I see some are now calling for Mitchell to be made Bok coach

On what grounds?

Apparently he is a great coach. Ackermann owes all his success to the Lions team Mitchell built, and he has totally transformed the Bulls

Reading what Rassie has to say in a recent interview, i think we are in kak, he is already talking shit like the coaches before him..

It's a classic! Wannabe "king" exiles himself from the homeland for a number of years. Incumbent loses out by any means possible. Wannabe rides to the rescue with the WC +/- 18 months away. It's a built in excuse if he stuffs up. If by some miracle the Boks win the cup, Rassie's name goes down in history alongside White & Christie. Actually, I'm willing to bet this has been the long-term plan all along................get rid of SARU and we have a chance....for 2023

Allistair Coetzee: You are firing me because I am coloured!
Jurie Roux: No, we hired you because you were coloured, we are firing you because you are kak!

In fact because you are coloured we had to make extra sure you were extra kak before we could fire you.

Was wondering how long it’s gonna take before he pisses off again to the next one.

He has been contracted until 2023, that is good, we need a coach to stay around for some time and perhaps he can be left alone, I hope Stick can get our backline moving, but I suspect Rassie is there to teach Stick who will take over the coaching job when Rassie gets sacked in 2 years time.

If Rassie doe snot select DDA then there is hope for him..

I'm sure we can add to that 'Do not select' list ;)

Not a bad coaching "Team" - I know one guy (he used to work at UCT) who will be jumping for joy, he's the biggest Rassie fan in the west...

Quote

We know that Jacques Nienaber is almost indisputably one of the premier defence specialists in the world, although he is extraordinary seldom quoted or even pictured in the mass media.

Similarly, Swartland-born scrummaging expert and former France tighthead Pieter de Villiers doesn’t traditionally put a hearty right shoulder into media dealings, whilst Mzwandile Stick also very unusually departs from the expected, the bog-standard in that area.

Of the premier quartet, head honcho Erasmus, the classy, attack-minded former Bok flanker, is probably the most obliging when he wants to be, or it is absolutely necessary for him to leave his study.  ((From Here))

Which is why Rassie scares me
